Role
Designer
Goal
Design a gender-inclusive graphic that represents the spirit of the race.
Challenge
Creating a jersey that embodies the essence of the race while remaining versatile enough for everyday cycling.
Design Work
• Sourced fabrics that aligned with the demands of the racing route.
• Developed and refined graphic designs.
• Curated and adjusted color combinations for optimal visual impact.
• Collaborated with mills to ensure the desired appearance and quality.
Result
Successfully launched a co-branded jersey that resonated with both racers and casual cyclists.
Impact
The jersey was selected by the Taiwanese Presidential Palace as a diplomatic gift for the President of Paraguay, Mario Abdo Benítez.
Lessons Learned
• Striking the balance between representing the race’s identity and ensuring the jersey’s appeal for everyday use is key in design.
• Effective collaboration with mills and careful color management are critical in achieving a high-quality final product.
