Academic Projects
Both projects emphasized performance, comfort, and style, incorporating features like seam sealing, no-sew construction, drawcord hems, and sustainable, technical materials.
Ski Jacket Design
Designed and constructed a ski jacket from scratch, handling everything from pattern making and fabric selection to sewing and technical finishes. Inspired by streetwear’s oversized and cocoon silhouettes, I researched and developed my own pattern through four prototype iterations. The final jacket is waterproof, features four functionally placed pockets—including a no-sew pocket—and is suitable for both outdoor and everyday wear.

Thru Hiking Collection- Hiking Pants
In a team project inspired by the Camino de Santiago and Free People’s bohemian aesthetic, we created a vibrant, functional apparel collection for female hikers. I designed the hiking pants, featuring two front slant pockets, two hidden back pockets, an elastic waistband with front zipper, buckle, and signature straps for ease of wear. Drawcords at the hem allow users to walk in coastal waters without soaking the pants—tying in both style and function. Made from lightweight, quick-dry, waterproof, and breathable nylon with recycled content, the pants support active outdoor use while aligning with sustainable values.
